Episode Notes

What is it about villains that people are drawn to? Danny, Blake, and Nathaniel look at their favorite baddies in movies history. They try to determine what people like about them and talk about why they like them. They also talk about anti heroes and talk about misplaced admiration.

The show starts with talk about Netflix's planned mockumentary about 2020. The boys also talk about the plan Sundance unveiled for next year's edition of the prestigious fest.

Adventures in Movies Looks at... does something entirely different this week. For the first time ever, the guys look at a television show. Their pick  was the docuseries Heaven's Gate: Cult of Cults. In this special edition, the three talk about why Heaven's Gate was so easy to treat as a joke, what Cult of Cults did so differently, and how it changed their opinions.

This week's final segment is on the bad guys we love. Obviously, there is talk about Darth Vader, but the three also talk antiheroes, the importance of believing in oneself, and rooting for people you know you shouldn't.
